Cherokee Feed Control Systems are designed to regulate the flow of seed cotton from the module feeder into the gin plant—ensuring smooth, efficient, and uniform processing. During this stage, the seed cotton is loosened and introduced into a conveying air stream via a vacuum wheel, preparing it for downstream cleaning and drying operations.
A level switch located in the hopper above the feed rollers monitors cotton flow and automatically signals the module feeder when more cotton is needed. These systems can be configured for above- or below-ground installation, with customizable layouts to meet a wide range of facility needs.
