Sand Separator
Cherokee Sand Separators
Cherokee Sand Separators are engineered to deliver multiple benefits when sand content in seed cotton becomes a concern. These machines are designed to open, fluff, and clean the cotton, removing excess sand and preparing it for more efficient drying.
By delivering seed cotton in a single-locked state, Sand Separators optimize fiber condition before it enters the drying process. In addition to improving drying efficiency, they also serve as an effective method for conveying seed cotton into above-ground Feed Controllers, eliminating the need for in-ground pits.
Key Features:
-
Rugged Construction – Built for long service life under tough operating conditions.
-
Engineered for Ease of Maintenance – Simplified design reduces service time and maintenance costs.
-
Reduces Sand-Related Wear – Helps protect downstream equipment from abrasive damage.
-
Supports Above-Ground Feed Control Systems – Enables use of feed control hopper technology without the need for a pit.
Effective, durable, and essential where sand is a problem, Cherokee Sand Separators enhance overall system performance while reducing wear and maintenance downstream.
